Job Title: Vice President, Application Production Support
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Ensure all APS procedures are followed by teams performing EQD Support in Production. Ensure that the APS EQD team provides first and second level support. Manage and own P1/P2 incidents and problems. Provide workarounds in order to reduce the Business impact/outage of a critical or major incident. Communicate with internal users and management over incidents and post-mortems. Ensure all support issues are correctly logged in the Bank incident management system. Initiate task force over critical incidents. Implement automation in order to reduce the number of repetitive and manual tasks and control the risk associated to them. Participate in DRP/BCP exercises. Communicate globally to support teams on the new functionalities and organize training when required. *Telecommuting permitted 10%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas RCC Inc. office in New York, NY.
SALARY: $159,000.00 USD -$200,000.00 USD / year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and ten (10) years of experience in offered or related role OR no degree and twelve (12) years of experience in offered or related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with: Writing Shell, Python, and Perl scripting; Support in international banking and Financial Organizations; Understanding of the equities and derivative market; FIX Protocol and client onboarding connectivity support; Database programming and performance tuning of databases to improve application performance; Setting up monitoring in geneos and dynatrace applications and writing scripts to monitor it.
