About the job
- The main mission of the Trade Support Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day production of the Trade Support Team. Whilst supporting the Team Leader and guiding other team members, this role should be able to understand the main risks and responsibilities of the team to mitigate operational risks, produce Key Performace Indicators (KPIs), as well as escalate and liaise with other teams as needed
Your Main Activities Are
- Liaise with IT departments to raise tool issues and log bug/enhancements requests
- Act as a functional and technical expert, supporting the team by being a moderator and facilitator in any forum or discussion
- Proactively contribute to improve team effectiveness through Continuous Improvement approach
- Act as a first-line supervisor by assisting the team as well as the Team Leader
- Have a critical mindset and challenge the team to grow further on day to day tasks (especially on tasks were he/she is still contributing and has a closer view than his management line)
- Have sensitivity off Team KPI's and Yearly Goals and help the Team and Management move towards achieving that goal
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- From 3 to 4 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, namely Excel
- Ability to manage a project
- Ability to develop and leverage networks
- Ability to deliver
- Ability to pass on knowledge
- Ability to collaborate
