The Local Consulting Team Manager’s mission is to manage a team of internal consultants who contribute to projects in a co-staffing mode with the 2S C&T Paris team
Your Main Activities Are
- As a team manager
- Manage the team, and nurture team members development (skills, knowledge), alongside CIBC&T local team, leveraging their own processes and resources
- Manage internal mobilities, and participate in local recruitment, with the support of local CIBC&T Management team
- Actively contribute to the extended team governance (with Paris)
- Promote knowledge sharing within the local team and with the extended team
- Ensure a smooth and seamless communication with Paris team
- Develop a proximity with 2S local teams
- As a project manager
- Lead projects, ensuring that the key project outcomes are delivered:
- Grow collaborative, long-term client relationships while maintaining independence and the capacity to challenge them
- Ensure meaningful project structure and governance, as well as management of key stakeholders, represent projects in key meetings (OpCo, SteerCo) and report directly to project sponsors
- Ensure state of the art consulting methodology is applied to frame and execute programmes, projects, or specific complex project streams, on time, on quality and on budget
- Lead hybrid project teams with members located in Paris and/or Lisbon, ensuring their engagement and training on the job:
- Provide continuous support and coaching to the project team members
- Foster and contribute to continuous improvement mindset within the project team and with client, always leveraging client and project team members’ feedback
- Ensure efficient management of project resources, creating a safe place and exercising constant vigilance on team members’ well being
Profile and Skills to Success
- Masters in Business Management, in Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction
- At least 5 years of experience in Management Consulting
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in MS Office Pack (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Commitment generation (inspire & motivate, leadership)
- Strong consulting skills (consulting project management, storylining, …)
- Client focused
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of stakeholders
About the Team
- Securities Services (2S) is a business entity of BNPP CIB. 2S internal consulting team is located in Paris and counts 15 consultants, working for Senior Management on strategic and transformation projects throughout the organisation. The team is willing to develop an arm in Lisbon to leverage international and consulting profiles in a cross-staffing mode, working alongside Paris consultants, on projects mostly sourced from Paris
- The local 2S Consulting Team will report functionally to the Head of the Paris team, and locally to the Lisbon Head of CIB Consulting & Transformation
