Property Management - Director

The role

Supporting our property management business working in our Central London Major Buildings team so as to:

  • Assist the Head of Major Buildings manage our Property Management team in London
  • Provide focused, market-leading management in accordance with client contracts
  • Take a proactive view of our client’s assets, identifying opportunities where service can be improved or added value realised
  • Ensure that the service provided is monitored and in line with client contracts and SLA’s/KPI’s
  • Instructing and directing third parties across AUM including solicitors and other professional advisers
  • Developing and maintaining a strong working relationship with individuals within our clients’ business
  • Manage client contracts 
  • To actively participate in the growth of our property management business and to play a key role in business development  
  • Mentor/develop junior property managers in the team to assist with their progression within the business and to enhance wider service delivery 

Key deliverables 

  • Point of contact in respect of our Major Building clients
  • Lead client reporting in relation to all Landlord and Tenant matters to our clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Maintaining the client database in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with agreed procedures and timescales 
  • Proactively identify opportunities where business can be generated
  • Liaise and develop working relationships with other parts of BNPPRE to maximise cross selling opportunities
  • Reporting to clients on a regular basis in accordance with clients requests both ad hoc and structured  
  • Ensure delivery of service by generating effective working relationships with other members of the wider property management department
  • Provide best in class customer service to internal and external customer base
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with clients and tenants
  • Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and policies – e.g. Procurement, Finance, Compliance, HR 
  • Support Head of Major Buildings in all team and developmental matters

Person specification

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MRICS
  • Degree level education
  • Clean driving licence

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

  • Working with clients at a high level with evidence of effective service delivery
  • Demonstrable experience managing multi-let office buildings over 150,000 sq ft
  • Mobilisation experience for new build developments / refurbishments, preferably with an element of management design advice
  • Good knowledge and understanding of big building management trends, e.g. hospitality-led customer service, emerging technology, lifestyle and wellness initiatives/amenities, etc  
  • Broad knowledge of commercial property gained either in Private Practice or the Corporate Sector
  • Ability to manage and track service charge spends and identify cost mitigation opportunities
