About this opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Projects & Transformation Office and working under the sponsorship of the Nordic COO, you will be a central driver of the bank’s strategic change agenda. In this 12‑month fixed term contract you’ll lead, coordinate, and execute on initiatives that transform how we operate across the Nordics: 

  • Driving mutualisation efforts across Group entities in the Nordics
  • Supporting the expansion of our business activities in the region
  • Supporting the adherence to the Group’s procedures
  • Defining solutions in response to local regulatory requirements
  • Executing on the Group’s location strategy
  • Enhancing existing operational processes (e.g. through digitalisation)


You will be working closely with the Nordic leadership team and your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering projects in line with our change management framework/methodologies
  • Facilitating the articulation of business needs, scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Developing and maintaining robust project plans where appropriate and manage project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously at different stages of the project delivery lifecycle
  • Leading workshops, engaging with stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Supporting key decision-making by regularly communicating to the leadership team (incl. KPI reporting)
  • Facilitating and coordinating selected operational processes (e.g. budget & HC reporting, operational risk control)

Who are we looking for?

  • You are a positive and energetic individual with 3-5 years’ experience in Consulting and/or Change Management
  • You have previously worked in the banking or financial sector, with knowledge of corporate & institutional banking being a plus
  • You are Fluent in English (both written and oral) with a Nordic language being a plus
  • You can demonstrate strong project management experience being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously from definition over design to implementation
  • You are a team player and collaborate effectively with your peers and stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to proactively identify and deliver creative and innovative solutions in line with business requirements
  • You are a self-starter, organised, diligent, persistent, have a team-spirit, inspirational drive and strong ethics culture. You show the ability to manoeuvre complex environments in large international organisations
  • You are eager to learn and be part of the success story of BNP Paribas in the Nordics
