Execution Officer - Capital Markets

About the Job

  • The Execution Officers team plays a central role in the organization by managing and coordinating transversally the initiation and follow-up of Know Your Customer (KYC) requests in coordination with Relationship Managers (RMs) and deal teams, being the key point of contact for the timely completion of such requests

 Your main activities are

  • Develop an understanding of the SPG business, and the internal KYC flag requirements for SPG transactions and clients
  • Take ownership of the KYC client on-boarding process on behalf of the SPG deal team and, occasionally, of the Know Your Supplier or Insurer (KYS or KYI) on-boarding process on behalf of the SPG deal team
  • Initiation and follow-up of KYC requests, both onboarding and recertification
  • Coordinate the gathering of all documents and materials required by KYC teams for the on-boarding process
  • Develop an understanding of the materials required by different KYC jurisdictions
  • Track the progress of on-boarding requests closely, targeting full completion ahead of the anticipated transaction launch date
  • Escalate cases where KYC is expected not to be in place before transaction launch so relevant KYC Exception requests can be made
  • Be a key point of contact in SPG for KYC topics, making sure to align processes, suggest & implement necessary improvements 

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Law or others fields with special interest in regulatory topics
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in Compliance, particularly in KYC
  • Fluency in English
  • Good written and oral communication skills 
  • Team spirit and ability to collaborate with others and develop good working relationships with different departments 
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining good standards
  • Organisation and coordination skill

Capital Markets encompasses several business lines including the Securitised Products Group (SPG).

Securitised Products Group (SPG) covers Asset Backed Securities (ABS), Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) and Private Debt Financing. SPG advises corporate and institutional clients providing them with financing, risk transfer and capital markets access, through securitisation transactions across a range of asset classes.
