Compliance Specialist
Requirements:
- University degree in Law, Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in finance, preferably within banking or financial services, with demonstrable exposure to financial‑security, KYC/PEP processes, and risk‑assessment frameworks.
- Ability to analyse complex information, identify compliance risks, and propose practical mitigation actions.
- Fluency in English and Polish
- Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across functions and regions.
- High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Resilience in a fast‑changing regulatory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out compliance activities that support an efficient, risk based compliance framework across the entity.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day to day compliance inquiries, providing prompt and precise guidance on financial security matters, permanent control, and risk management frameworks.
- Perform and monitor tasks such as KYC due diligence reviews, PEP classification, alert management, and data information collection to maintain an adequate level of risk monitoring and management.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and upkeep of robust compliance policies, procedures, risk assessments, and controls, ensuring alignment with regulatory and BNP Paribas Group requirements.
- Support the execution of compliance risk assessments and control activities, maintaining a detailed map of the entity’s activities, associated risks, and mitigation measures.
- Draft periodic and ad hoc compliance reports and notifications for Branch Management and Group Compliance, fulfilling both regulatory and Group reporting obligations.
- Keep abreast of Group compliance publications and local regulatory correspondence, routing relevant information to appropriate local stakeholders in line with defined procedures.
