Business Transformation Project Manager
Swindon – Hybrid
We’re Arval BNP Paribas – we’re a global leader in vehicle leasing and the fourth largest leasing company in the UK. Our passion for Service, Sustainability, and Solutions is brought to life by each and every one of our people – who we call Journey Makers.
Culturally, we’re a friendly bunch – more human than corporate – and we serve a diverse customer base. From families choosing their first electric vehicle, to global brands seeking to switch their fleets to electric vehicles – whatever our customers’ mobility needs, we have a solution to offer.
Why join Arval?
In addition to the benefits and opportunities that come with being part of a progressive global banking group, we have a supportive and collaborative culture where wellbeing and work-life balance are taken seriously. Which is why we recently won the Wellbeing category of the 2024 Business Car Awards.
About the role
At Arval, we’re not just adapting to change—we’re driving it. As part of our bold Arval Beyond strategy, we’re evolving our business with a clear ambition: to become the industry benchmark in sustainable mobility solutions. This is your chance to be at the heart of that transformation.
In this exciting and high-impact role, you’ll take the reins on a complex portfolio of projects that are central to our strategic vision. You’ll be orchestrating change across multiple streams, managing intricate interdependencies with finesse, and ensuring everything is aligned for maximum efficiency—and maximum ROI.
Working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, as well as our Business and IT teams, you’ll be delivering projects that don’t just tick boxes—they enhance customer experience and empower our employees.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the delivery of transformational projects aligned with Arval UK’s strategic goals and business transformation roadmap.
- Collaborate with Corporate, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and IT to challenge and shape project definitions and execution.
- Develop and manage project plans using best-practice methodologies —covering everything from systems development to testing.
- Take ownership of project resources, timelines, costs, risks, and dependencies, ensuring successful outcomes across the board.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a forward-thinking, outcome-driven Project Manager who thrives in complex environments. You’re someone who brings clarity to complexity and unites teams around shared goals. Ideally, you’ll have experience in both IT and business process change—especially within financial services or highly regulated sectors.
You’re a natural communicator, politically astute, and confident navigating a matrix organisation. Whether you’re diving into data or presenting to stakeholders, you know how to make the complex simple and the strategy clear.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Proven experience leading Agile project delivery.
- A strong grasp of project management tools, techniques, and the full project lifecycle.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an eye for what truly drives business value.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with laser-sharp attention to detail.
- A genuine focus on customer outcomes in everything you do.
