About Business line/FunctionCompliance Hub - India CoE is dedicated to safeguarding the Group's reputation and mitigating risk across its global businesses by supporting a broad range of Compliance functions. The Hub serves as a strategic global partner to Compliance teams worldwide, delivering expertise in Financial Security (KYC, Sanctions, and AML), controls framework, conduct and professional ethics, data analytics and governance, and transformation initiatives including AI adoption. The Hub teams collaborate closely with Compliance and business stakeholders across the Group to drive efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance operational resilience.
Position PurposeThe business analyst will work closely with Airtech (AI Robotics and Technology) Team based in India and France and with customers globally to evaluate processes, deep-dive into automation use cases, understand business requirements with the objective of driving automation and efficiency within compliance. The role requires strong project management, organization, transformation and industrialization skills along with hands-on experience with technology and methodologies used in AI/ML and RPA domain. The individual will support RPA and AI use case acculturation and industrialization in an IC (individual Contributor) role.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be process-efficiency minded, technologically savvy, Proactive and self-starter, and have a high degree of business analysis, data-analytics and automation capabilities.
Direct Responsibilities
· Perform high level assessment of use cases and processes across various locations & business lines and assess whether the processes are a suitable candidate for automation using AI and/or RPA technologies.
· Contribute as an individual contributor/ BA in assigned Robotic and AI projects, liaise with functional and Business heads as well as the IT Group developers to help build solutions and deliver solutions end to end.
· Ensure effective and timely communication of project status, updating of key documentations like BRD, FSD, RAID log, Dashboards for all assigned projects and create an environment of transparency.
· Draft and communicate effectively - BRDs, Solution Design Documents, Operating procedures, KPIs, workflows, PPTs and promotional presentations.
· Work with PM and Development team to support in the initiation of test scenarios, oversee UAT testing and signoff process for the projects undertaken.
· Ensure proper documentation and record keeping and transparency of the progress updates so that post-go-live support and long-term support is not impacted. The audit trail should be kept appropriate and reachable to all.
· Be able to contribute effectively on performing RCA of on hold use cases, solutions for potential replicability, discuss prioritization of use cases based on critical data elements and regulatory requirements,
· Be able to bring objectivity to the review of latest technologies and analyse the cost implications, scalability and regulatory requirements while implementing new technology (e.g. machine learning, AI, blockchain and their relevance to compliance processes)
· Efficient tracking of Project progress, feasibility assessments, efficiency analysis, solution design and implementation plan.
· Support the PM, Management team and developers in multiple engagement initiatives including but limited to Process mining, standardising dashboards &KPIs, building & maintaining an upto date project dashboard,
Contributing Responsibilities
· Stay up to date with projects assigned to self and team, Manage Stakeholder expectations w.r.t Projects support, Planning and communication. Ensure RPA/AI governance framework is adhered to.
· Deliver appropriate reporting content, KPI metrics to management, with continuity of reporting and transparency on actions as per agreed KPI
· Proactively communicate with ISPL Management and on-shore users in case of issues or other related topics.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· Strong BA experience working on digital initiatives including RPA, AI, Python automations,
· Knowledge of machine learning, cognitive computing, AI, data analysis tools, SDLC and Agile methodologies will be highly desitrable.
· BA Experience working with PMs, developers, global stakeholders, end users and cross-functional teams in a global matrix environment.
· Knowledge of BI tools, RPA platforms, Python, JIRA, Tableau, Power BI, MS Visio, MS Office 365 and SharePoint.
· Experience in business analysis and project management, preferably across IT, RPA and AI projects.
· Strong project management, organizational and presentation skills.
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision while supporting and monitoring team assignments.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and people-management skills, with the ability to translate group objectives into measurable team KPIs.
· Ability to make informed decisions on complex business ideas and technical issues.
· Experience in Compliance, banking or FinTech, with exposure to banking products and systems.
Good to have
- Agile delivery methods or version-control practices, Tableau, is desirable.
- Previous experience within Compliance, Financial Security or a regulated financial-services environment is advantageous
- Self-driven, working knowledge of compliance control framework and Risk methodologies.
Specific Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelors degree.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in digital transformation space (RPA, AI, Machine Learning, LLM, , etc.), BA experience is highly desirable.
