Position Purpose

Provide a brief description of the overall purpose of the position, why this position exists and how it will contribute in achieving the team’s goal.

Associate, Associate Level 1 and Sr. Associate will be responsible for performing daily tasks related to Principal Lending Billing process carried out in the Principal lending department. He/ She will be working closely with Paris management,  Front office and external Brokers as part of their daily tasks and will report to the Team Manager in Chennai.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

¡ Check and edit the invoices

¡ Send all the invoices to the brokers at the beginning of the month

¡ Investigate and solved all the price breaks with the front office, the settlement team and the corporate action team.

¡ Agree with brokers the final figures to receive and follow the payments of the broker.

¡ Send correct client reporting

¡ Understand/get trained in each function you manage in the processes and be a single point of contact (SPOC) for your respective teams.

¡ Check and send the Broker Fee reports to all the Clients as part of agreement without breach.

¡ Generate the fee statements, check and send the broker invoices to the brokers at the beginning of the month without fail.

¡ Perform control tasks required for the process, double check and confirm the completion of tasks within the deadline in line with daily checklists.

¡ Procedures and checklists must be updated/ prepared with immediate effect to be in-line with delivery standards and SLA

¡ Exhibit an understanding and contribute to the decision making process of the management team, through providing feedback and ideas, attending assigned meetings and following up on deliverables.

¡ Represents and be an active participant on all team leader’s meetings and ensure all issues are addressed to various stakeholders.

¡ Anticipate issues that may adversely affect Operations and propose possible solutions

¡ Constantly improve business knowledge through training and multi-skilling and ensure team members are cross-trained across various functions in the team.

¡ Assist your management with any ad hoc queries/tasks and projects.



 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

¡ Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, and solid organizational and interpersonal skills.

¡ Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines

¡ Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.

¡ Securities Lending knowledge will be an advantage
