About this opportunity

In Global Markets, The Analyst / Graduate Analyst role within the FX & Rates Derivatives team is based in Stockholm and offers experience across a range of asset classes covering Corporate & Financial Sponsors in the Nordic region. This will give you an immense opportunity to learn about a variety of products, clients and markets.

The start date is flexible between October 2026 and August 2027. 

The Role 

In this role, you will concentrate on developing deep product expertise in FX and Rates Derivatives while building a comprehensive understanding of the Nordic market. You will be responsible for the seamless execution of client requests, acting as a vital link between external clients and internal trading desks. Working closely with Structuring, Strategy and Trading desks you will support the Nordic team, while actively building long-term relationships with your client base. While managing essential operational and administrative workflows, you will focus on building a robust professional network across internal risk, structuring, and back-office teams to ensure efficient trade lifecycles.

What you will do 

  • Facilitate the execution of FX and Rates products by acting as the primary point of contact between clients and traders.
  • Collaborate daily with Strategy and Trading desks to deliver expert insights during client calls.
  • Foster strong internal partnerships across Trading, Risk, Structuring desks, and Operations to ensure efficient trade flow.
  • Represent BNP Paribas Nordic at client events and meetings across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and the London trading floor.
  • Support operational excellence by managing client onboarding, scheduling, and settlement tasks.

Your Profile 

  • Prior experience or a strong interest in FX, Rates, derivatives, and macro economics in general
  • An university degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Strong interest to built long-term client relationships and a team player
  • Proven ability to handle precise tasks in a fast-paced setting accurately while managing shifting priorities
  • Confident verbal communication and networking skills with the ability to influence
  • Methodical, logical, systematic, pro-active and solution-driven approach
  • Great multitasking and time management skills
  • Keen interest and basic understanding in Financial Markets
  • Fluent in English and a Nordic language
