ABOUT THE JOB
RISK is an integrated and independent control function of the BNP Paribas Group. It is the second line of defense on the risk management activities of the Group which are under its direct responsibilities, including credit and counterparty risk, market risk, funding and liquidity risk, interest rate and foreign exchange risks in the banking book, insurance risk, operational risk, and environmental and social risks.
As an AI Business Analyst Intern, you will translate user and sponsor requirements into actionable projects for the AIR Tech AI team. Based in Madrid, you will work from a flex office with remote‑work flexibility.
The team works from the office in Madrid, Arturo Soria district, a 5‑minute walk from metro line and several bus lines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate data scientists and AI engineers with internal sponsors to define project scope.
- Track progress, anticipate issues, and act as Scrum Master using agile methods.
- Present AI contributions internally and externally to raise visibility.
- Support deployment by aligning project sponsors, IT resources, and AIR Tech contributors.
- Monitor the AI portfolio for the Risk function, updating strategic dashboards.
- Serve as primary contact for RISK AI Ambassadors in a designated risk pillar.
PROFILE & SKILLS
Studies:
- Degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
Business Skills:
- Advanced English (spoken & written).
- Familiarity with Python and Power BI.
- Interest in data‑driven risk management.
