About the Team

Arval IT is an international IT organization, with a workforce of around 1 000 internal and external professionals located in several countries (France, UK, Netherlands and other). As part of our sourcing strategy, we are expanding our nearshoring capabilities by establishing a new IT Hub in Poland, within an existing business operations shared service center (Arval Competence Center Warsaw, ACCW). This IT hub plays a strategic role in the development of digital expertise, and internalization of key competencies currently handled by external partners. 

Arval Competence Center Warsaw is the latest initiative of the BNP Paribas group, which aims to develop competences and business services. Currently, ACCW employs over 90 people who, every day, in various languages, help Arval Group entities to efficiently serve Clients and Partners. In ACCW, solutions are being created that aim to streamline the customer and supplier verification processes. The center specializes, among others, in credit analyses and KYC analyses, and also performs tasks in the field of HR data administration and internal control. 

As part of the strategic initiative of Arval IT teams’ deployment, the Tribe Clients & Partners is expanding its presence in Poland. The Tribe provide leasing and mobility solutions to corporations, SMEs and individuals. Digital platforms are core to our value proposition, enabling customer acquisition, online contracting and efficient vehicle remarketing. Our IT model is based on agile delivery, with squads working in collaboration with product owners, UX designers and technical leads around multiple geographies. The Tribe Clients & Partners is in charge of several services for our Business: exposition of Arval offers on Public Websites for ecommerce, marketing campaigns, clients onboarding (compliance, credit risk, checkout, etc.), API services exposed to automotive Partners in all Arval countries (JLR, Hyundai, Volvo, etc.), B2B services to connect to markets platforms for car repair/maintenance management, car inspection tools, mobility services (car sharing, bike leasing, etc.), CRM platform, and remarketing websites.

The individual in the role described below would work within Remarketing team, which focuses on the solutions supporting used vehicles resale.

Duties - Responsibilities

The IT business analyst’s duties are as follows: 

Understands and analyses the business line’s needs in one or more functional areas, with the aim of developing the IS with appropriate and sustainable solutions that are consistent with the entity’s strategic plan and the associated portfolio of requests: 

  • Contributes to preliminary studies in liaison with the business line 
  • Helps, where appropriate, to monitor the portfolio and prioritize requests within his/her scope of activity Clarifies, performs critical and constructive analysis and, where appropriate, compares the business line’s needs against the entity’s strategic plan 

Ensures that the solution meets the requirements set out to cover the business line’s needs: 

  • Formalizes the expression of need and ensures it is approved by the business line 
  • Defines, formalizes and obtains approval of the requirements set out to cover the expression of need in collaboration with the contributors involved, in accordance with the entity’s practices 
  • Carries out or helps with the test activities within his/her functional scope 
  • Supports the business line in carrying out user tests 
  • Contributes, in conjunction with the business line, to change management and roll out for the end customer.
  • Helps to identify business line impacts generated by the solution and with the development of action plans.
  • Helps the PO to manage the backlog and priorities. 

Acts as the contact person within the project and/ or maintenance teams and for the business line in relation to data and functional aspects:

  • Shares knowledge about his/her area of expertise and provides functional support 
  • Carries out reporting in accordance with the operating rules and practices defined for the scope 
  • Helps with the coordination of user communities.
  • Follows up the production and manages the user support 
  • Manages the requests to other stakeholders.

Activities

THE COLLABORATOR WILL BE INVOLVED IN SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES 

  • Collaborate with IT PO & business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for the projects
  • Work closely with developers to design and propose solutions that align with business objectives. 
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user stories and process flows to guide development efforts.
  • Assist in designing content strategies and information architectures that are aligned with business goals and user experience best practices.
  • Assist in creating test plans and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that implementations meet the specified business needs.
  • Offer training and support to internal users on features and functionalities post-deployment. 
  • Stay informed on latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve the business solutions we provide.
