About the job

  • The New Media Engagement and Sustainability Marketing and Communications Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping the way our team delivers on sustainability marketing and communications and engages with new media platforms. Their mission is to creatively drive and deliver impactful campaigns that highlight our commitment to sustainability, amplifying our expertise, key client initiatives and successes across CIB business lines and functions. By harnessing innovative marketing and communications strategies and championing our brand values, the officer will ensure our messaging resonates with both internal and external audiences

Your Main Activities Are

  • Source, produce and deliver engaging sustainability marketing and communications campaigns through planning and preparation (write, edit and proofread), about sustainability initiatives, client deals, awards, related events, and engagement projects together with relevant internal stakeholders, for internal and external use through various communication channels
  • Contribute to the execution of the new media engagement strategy by coordinating with key internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring that communication campaigns are delivered effectively and in compliance with governance processes and standards
  • Maintain active collaboration with key internal stakeholders, working closely wilth the CIB Marketing & Communications and Group communitcations team to ensure effective publication of content and campaigns, as well as relaying strategy and planning and exchanging best practices
  • Contribute to updating of the Global CIB Planning MS List, as well as the maintenance of materials (pitches, support docs, articles, etc.) on the Sustainable Finance Sharepoint
  • Systematically monitor key trends in sustainability and new media engagement, and track the marketing and communications initiatives of peers and competitors, to ensure the highest standards of creativity and execution are consistently maintained

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Master degree in Communication, ESG or Sustainability
  • Between 5 and 7 years of relevant working experience
  • Fluent in English 
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Knowledge in new/ next gen media solutions
  • Experience managing stakeholders 
  • Good communication skills
