About the Job

  • The Credit Risk - Regulatory Reporting Team Leader with his team contributes to the Credit Risk Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) computation and analysis, Group calculation Basel solvency ratio and Pillar 3 disclosures. Regulatory Reporting at Group and sub-consolidated level (COREP Own Funds/Large Exposures/Leverage Ratio, Loan Tape reporting, International Commitments, Pillar 2 - Short Term Exercise, G-SIB, Basel Monitoring - Quantitative Impact Study, etc.), Data quality and process optimization and supporting his manager in his role
  • This specific job role is concerned namely to BNP Paribas Loan Tape preparation which are related with the quarterly regulatory request as well as additional supervisory requests. This position will play a key role on the coordination of Loan Tape productions process across the different Group Functions and Business Lines, as well as on data preparation and validation

Your Main Activities Are

  • Coordinate and supervise the team work in order to be aligned with the targets and objectives of the department and report to the manager 
  • Collection and control of risk data (ensure the quality and integrity of the data used or enriched by the team 
  • Production of management information and variation analysis
  • Coordination with related businesses (Risk, Finance, Capital Management) and group
  • Supervise and assist team with the production of several process and reports (Loan tape production, International Commitments, Pillar 2 - Short Term Exercise, G-SIB, Basel Monitoring - Quantitative Impact Study)
  • Have a proactive participation in the different projects linked to regulatory evolutions, reporting evolutions, process improvements, regulators requests, Information Technology (IT) developments
  • Act as key point of contact for the Group stakeholders
  • Strive for quality improvement through actively revising and improving processes, procedures, and data quality reporting, including actively participating in the testing phases
  • Test and analyse the impact of new data sourcing in the completion/referential data in the group tools during the inter-closing period 
  • In charge of the team operational matters delegated by the manager, such as On boarding and operational training of the new team members; Definition of job positions for new recruitment requests; Booking of recruitment interviews with recruiters, candidates interview; Objectives definition, appraisal, and Personal Development Plan of team members; Checkpoints (trial period validation) of team members

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • Up to 5 years of professional experience in Risk and Controls
  • Previous professional experience as a Team Manager
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office Pack, namely, Excel
  • Knowledge of MYSQL, Python, or Dataiku
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to synthetise and simplify
