The role strengthens BNP Paribas’ commitment to delivering safe, efficient and client‑focused payment services by ensuring transparent management of USD clearing limits, funding and operational bookings. As part of the Client Support Services team within Payment & Clearing Solutions, you will safeguard risk and provide high‑quality reporting and analytics to our North American network. Your work directly contributes to maintaining client trust and the bank’s operational excellence.
In detail
This is a 4-month contract. Working shift: from 6am to 2pm
- Investigate payment issues as they arise to identify root causes and deliver timely resolutions, thereby maintaining client confidence and compliance.
- Monitor the USD clearing client portfolio daily to proactively detect anomalies and provide early support, ensuring uninterrupted service and meeting SLA expectations.
- Manage credit, funding, and transaction limits continuously to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards, protecting the bank’s risk exposure.
- Produce and deliver client reporting and analytical dashboards each month to inform business decisions and enhance client experience.
- Liaise between back‑office, front‑office, and client teams to facilitate clear communication, expedite issue resolution, and uphold service quality.
- Coordinate with NCNA, PCS and other stakeholders on a regular basis to sustain high service levels and operational transparency.
- Analyze billing, risk and control reports to recommend efficiency improvements and uphold BNP Paribas’ permanent control framework.
- Drive processing efficiency by targeting a 95 % straight‑through‑processing rate and implementing procedural enhancements as needed.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional working proficiency in English language is required.*
- 2–4 years of experience in banking, specifically in correspondent banking, payment operations, or cash‑management products related to USD clearing.
- Collaborative problem solving when working with cross‑functional teams to resolve payment issues.
- Reasoned analysis of transaction data to create actionable dashboards and support client‑experience improvements.
- Clear written and verbal communication to convey issue status and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail when reviewing wire transfers, SWIFT messages, and control reports.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to develop reports, presentations, and daily tracking tools.
- Resourceful approach to propose procedural changes that increase processing efficiency and compliance.
- Dependable multitasking in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while maintaining precision.
- Self‑directed work style to handle responsibilities with minimal supervision and meet SLA targets.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts, reporting cycles, and stakeholder interactions.
- Adaptability to stay current with regulatory and operational changes affecting USD clearing.
