We’re looking for a pragmatic, detail-oriented Data Analyst to join the RISK Human Resources Team at BNP Paribas in the RISK department (Control Function). You will be based in Madrid reporting to the RISK Head of Rewards and Data Analytics, based in Paris.
You will be responsible for supporting the Human Resource team and business partners in data analytics, troubleshooting activities, reports and special HR projects. Accountable for collecting, cleaning, maintaining and analyzing data that can be translated into insights to guide our HR strategy and support the decision making.
You will be an expert in managing and analyzing large sets of data, maintaining data integrity and communicating relevant insights.
The ideal person for this role loves to collaborate with other HR specialists, data professionals from other teams to understand and address their data needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex HR data to provide actionable insights for senior executive management.
- Develop and deliver compelling data presentations to senior executive management.
- Utilize advanced Excel and Power BI skills to create detailed reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize HR processes and improve data accuracy.
- Leverage data to support HR strategy and decision-making processes.
- Maintain, implement and develop business processes and documentation, user procedures and guidelines
- Drive team in continuous improvement activities to ensure best practices and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to work independently for day-to-day tasks to ensure goals and priorities are met.
- Proficiency in both English and French.
- Advanced skills in Excel and experience with Power BI.
- Experience with Access, macros, VBA, and knowledge of Python or R is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior executive management.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commitment to error free data administration.
