As a Senior Analyst you will be the technical and analytical cornerstone that ensures every notification, entitlement and election is captured, processed and reported with absolute precision. Your deep-dive expertise will protect our clients’ assets and drive operational excellence. You will partner with client account management teams and our extended offshore processing hub to deliver accurate, timely outcomes for local and global custody clients.

  • Coordinate the workflow and strategically allocate daily workload within the team to ensure activities meet established quality standards.
  • Perform daily control on end-to-end process and apply signoff in our risk platforms.
  • Lead audit engagements by conducting thorough process walk-throughs, responding to auditor inquiries and substantiating our procedures, ensuring each audit is completed efficiently and with full compliance.
  • Identify process or control gaps, propose improvements and work with IT to design, test and roll out changes.
  • Perform daily oversight of offshore operations and lead bi-weekly governance reviews to surface, assess and remediate any risks, gaps or weaknesses in the workflow.
  • Pursue continuous self-development through formal learning and on-the-job upskilling; simultaneously coach colleagues, support their career progression and disseminate best-practice knowledge across the team.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 3+ years’ corporate action experience with deep technical knowledge of Australian and New Zealand markets.
  • Advanced Excel/PoweBI skills (VLOOKUP, macros, pivot tables, data visualisation)

Desired knowledge, skill, experience

  • Degree (or higher) in Banking & Finance, Commerce or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience in comparable role.
