MFS Client Business Analyst

  • The MFS Client Business Analyst is responsible to maintain existing business with current clients and provide transversal support through the Dealing Services department. The aim is to provide a business support service to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day management of the function. The role supports the creation of multi-asset classes outsourced dealing services within MFS Business Line in charge of RTEO (Reception, Transmission and Execution of Orders) on behalf of third-party clients

Your Main Activities Are

  • Responsible for the financial and operational management, as allocated by the Deputy Head
  • Responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of Policies and Procedures relating to the department and assisting in their review
  • Prepare and produce weekly financial and performance reports
  • Supervise a series of productions’ operations by performing a second level controls defined by the management. These controls are designed to ensure that the different teams of the Department apply correctly the procedures, but also to mitigate the risk of human errors on identified manual tasks (e.g. static data set ups in the systems, etc.)
  • Contribute to the processes improvements with a special focus on the reporting and the management of risk and controls. Working together with the various teams, the Business Support Officer should be proactive in the identification of risk areas and propose implementation of new controls and procedures where relevant
  • Coordinate clients on-boarding by ensuring IT parameters, clients’ information availability, reporting set up with regards to client documentation
  • Monitor report generation and ensure its adequacy and exhaustiveness with the contribution of the Dealing Desk
  • Assist Management by performing, on a regular basis, KPIs related to local transactions monitoring, activity wise and by client
  • Monitor and check client billing

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
  • From 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Operations
  • Fluent (C1-C2) level of English
  • Ability to deliver / results driven
  • Good communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Creativity, innovation and problem solving skills
  • Attention to detail / rigor
  • Knowledge of Middle Office Operations
  • Analytical ability, namely in Excel
