At Cardif Servicios, we are looking for a detail-oriented IT Asset Manager to lead the governance and control of our technological ecosystem. If you excel at maintaining high-quality CMDBs and ensuring alignment between IT infrastructure and business continuity, this is the role for you!
Role Objective: You will be responsible for the end-to-end management and control of the organization's IT assets (servers, applications, databases, and associated components). Your goal is to ensure that the CMDB (Mega) remains accurate, reliable, and fully aligned with governance, security, and compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Asset Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including physical and virtual servers, applications, and cloud services.
- CMDB Governance: Ensure the CMDB is up-to-date and reliable by integrating information from multiple systems and data sources.
- Verification & Accuracy: Periodically validate the consistency of CMDB records against actual infrastructure and production environments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Infrastructure, Development, and Operations teams to ensure all changes are accurately reflected in the CMDB.
- Reporting & Metrics: Develop coverage, accuracy, and compliance reports to mitigate risks associated with unregistered or outdated assets.
- Audit & Compliance: Participate in and support internal and external audits regarding technological asset management.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to optimize traceability and automation within IT asset management processes.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM).
- Strong expertise in CMDB tools (Experience with Mega is highly preferred).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (Servers, Cloud, Databases).
- Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and excellent coordination skills.
