Junior Fund Accountant
Requirements:
- Finance and Accounting or similar fields of study
- Experience in Fund Accounting or Asset Management - nice to have
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of Operations and Processes in Fund Accounting and Asset Services
- Very good communication & teamwork skills
- Proficient command of MS Office (very good knowledge of Excel)
- Certificates of ACCA, CFA, CIMA - nice to have
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Net Asset Value calculations, and investigate exceptions
- Book transactions related to the fund, review instructions, and reconcile accounted movements against reports from counterparties
- Ensure safekeeping of client assets, and resolve settlement discrepancies
- Respond to client inquiries, provide timely and accurate information, and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Perform daily/weekly reconciliations, deal with corporate actions, OTC, and collateral products, and maintain accurate accounting
- Collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a high-performing team
