 Mission and objectives 

 Team: Financial Reporting - Liquidity. its integrated within EMEA Finance department belonging to Finance and Strategy function of BNP Paribas group. 

 The team has as mains mission and objectives to produce financial reporting and provide all synthesis and analysis required to manage the Liquidity Reporting of BNP Paribas EMEA entities, as well as to ensure the control and the reliability of financial data required to produce the Liquidity reporting including segmentation, in coordination with the Group / Business Lines. 

Main responsibilities

 Liquidity reporting analyst main duties are: 
  * Ensuring that all necessary controls are in place, well formalized and justified.
  * Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reporting packages to stakeholders.
  * Measurement and control the quality of data used in the valuation of liquidity parameters.
  * Explain the monthly evolution contributing to the liquidity ratio through a summary document broken down by Business Line.
  * Keeping up to date with normative framework applicable to BNPP regulatory reports.
* Participation in projects upgrades/version releases of respective reporting tools.
* Assist in identifying operational process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to increase the team's efficiency and effectiveness.
  * Perform a risk assessment over tasks, processes and controls performed and propose mitigation strategies.

 Requirements 

 Training and occupational experience 
  * Business school, University Graduate, master's degree in accounting or finance degree.
* Minimum 2 years in Finance within the Banking sector (Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms is a plus.
  * Experience of working in an international environment appreciated.

 Languages 
  * English Advanced
  * French and other European languages a plus.

 Technical Skills 
  * Basic knowledge of banking balance sheet and its main components.
  * Knowledge and understanding of Liquidity reporting normative and ratios is appreciated.

 Soft Skills and behaviours 
* Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  * Ability to learn new systems and products quickly.
  * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a matrix organisation and deadline-focused environment.

Methodologies, Tools & Technologies
  * SAP BI.
  * Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
  * Programming / data analysis languages knowledge (Python, VBA, SQL) is a plus.
  * Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
