DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

 

RISK Corporate main missions are to:

  •      Ensure the quality of risks taken on CIB Corporate activitiy
  •  Monitor the risk profile of corporate exposures 
  •  Lead the Corporate Client Continuum

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In order to enhance RISK Corporate capabilities in portfolio exposures monitoring & Early Warning Signals detection, the missions of the Credit Portfolio analyst will consist in;

 

1. Ensuring the information sharing between the Risk Officers and the points of contacts in regions through the coordination of regular meetings (2 to 4 a year) to discuss deals, portfolio trends, market updates, lessons learnt and alerts, update of business strategy, risk orientations and any other topic deemed relevant.

 

This entails, at least;

 

o Regular contacts with contributors

 

o The definition of a harmonized approach (agenda, templates…)

 

o The preparation of the final support document

 

o The production of minutes of the exchanges

 

o The follow-up of decisions and next steps taken during the meetings

 

2. Contribute to the preparation and production of other portfolio-related initiatives within RISK Corporate

 

The Corporate Credit Portfolio Analyst will contribute to the elaboration and coordination of others portfolio elated initiatives originated by RISK Corporate such as;

 

o Sector and Product Coordination Forums, which are forums which purposes are to develop a transversal view and expertise about the challenges, opportunities and risks faced by a specific sector or product; to help identify the key drivers of the related portfolio, anticipate the future evolution, draw lessons from relevant developments; to contribute to the operational insertion of guidelines and to foster discussions and analysis geared at enhancing the internal risk management framework of the sector/product. It is an ongoing forum which aims at creating a framework for fruitful cross-fertilization and exchange of views and experience between the participants. Each SPCF has a role of animation, portfolio analysis communication and anticipation regarding the related sector or product.

  o Other portfolio reviews held within RISK Corporate that are deemed relevant

   

PROFILE

o Strong interpersonal skills: adaptability to various working environments, open and agile-minded, proactive

o Agility with Excel, Powerpoint and other IT tools

o Strong interest in credit topics, sectorial dynamics, economics and geopolitics.

o Languages: English (advanced)
