- The CBK Controls Officer's mission is to be responsible to perform the internal controls towards the operational activity performed by the Cash Hub teams
Your Main Activities Are
- Communicate with correspondents and counterparts as well as internal departments.
- Monitor and manage Fraud Alerts (ACTIMIZE) and Suspicious Flows, gathering the necessary information to be able to unblock them if justification is provided
- Manage clarification requests from counterparties regarding FATF compliance/Payment Transparency on SWIFT payments released from BNP Paribas and instructions received from counterparts
- Follow the activity closely, i.e. monitoring volumes evolution, workloads, recurring issues; and present solutions as well as ideas for improvement
- Perform controls on Cash Hub Activity
- Manage OUR Fees requests from counterparts
- Escalate matters to line manager or senior colleagues when needed
- Support management in all operational activity and also on the transversal projects when required
- Participate actively in all projects developed within the Department and BNP Paribas Portugal
- Monitor, report and mitigate the operational risk for all cases that the team is involved
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting or related
- At least 3 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations or similar
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in MS Office Pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Analytical ability
- Organisational skills
