About Business line/Function: 

Investment Analytics and Data Service (IADS) team is a department of BNP ISPL providing performances and reporting services to Asset Managers and Institutional clients. Services 

provided by IADS include state of the art performances and risks calculations delivered online or through 

wide range of reports (accounting packs, Investment reviews) or data feeds.

Position Purpose 

The “Business Support Manager” will be a member of the IADS Management Team, responsible to cater to diverse reporting needs through variety of systems and tools used by the department. They are expected to contribute towards modelling, execution and governance of horizontal and global initiatives, inclusive of, and not limited to IADS Industrialization Model, Local and global budget activities [Forecast, Budget, T&E tracking], Continuous Service Improvement, Regional and Global Service Reviews and other critical workstream governance. 

IADS Business Support Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring governance of critical activities and their job duties also include analyzing business performance, managing budgets, headcounts, and ensuring that staff performance aligns with function goals. 

Responsibilities 

Direct Responsibilities 

Strategic goals through providing collation, substantiation and guidance concerning information processes. 

  1. Functional Change Management: For special strategic projects, global initiatives, they ensure that the function evolves in line with the company's vision. They proactively identify and propose suggestions to improve operational excellence
  2. Digital Channels Knowledge: They ensure sufficient knowledge of digital channels within the team
  3. Performance Monitoring: They monitor the performance and quality of function and business processes, ensuring ongoing optimization and minimizing operational risks
  4. Documentation and Compliance: They are responsible for documenting processes to comply with regulations and align all contributors
  5. IND point of contact for Global IADS QRC – responsible for all Risk related analysis, timeliness, reporting
  6. Includes owning IND related ISAE interactions and expected to contribute towards Digi-Control progress
  7. Headcount Management, Staff file, Headcount, Forecast and Budget related MIS
  8. Capacity management 
  9. Govern, lead and execute all horizontal and strategic projects, at function level 
  10. Budget Analysis & Comparison and output YOY
  11. Attrition and Retention + Mobility and people related MI
  12. Hiring Management [administrative]
  13. Govern Service Reviews [global, local and regional]
  14. Govern all the workstreams and report periodic progress 
  15. KPI Monitoring
  16. SOP and SLA adhesion
  17. All Hands compilation and delivery 
  18. Communication champion of IADS – locally and globally 
  19. Recognition forum

Contributing Responsibilities 

Excellent understanding of IADS Org, globally, with a broad view of procedures, risks, controls and client spread. 

Strong analytical skills to evaluate the company’s data needs, and to develop systems to facilitate easy and efficient access to that data 

Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve any issues that arise with the MIS, including system errors or inefficiencies 

Leadership and project management skills to direct teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget 

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel in a clear and understandable manner 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies 

. Strong understanding of financial markets, investment management and asset management 

· Good communication skills 

. Proven experience as an MIS executive 

. Experience with data analysis procedures 

. A keen eye for detail. 

· Knowledge of statistical risk measures and how to calculate them (added advantage) 

· Basic MS Office applications and Power BI (added advantage)
