About Business line/Function:
“CEP IT – Functions” is an IT team responsible for delivering HR solutions for CIB across AMER, EMEA and APAC.
This includes development and maintenance of IT systems which are internally developed, vendor supplied on premise or SaaS products. These cover all HR processes including HR Onboarding and maintaining the employee data. Platform responsible for Employee Journey – Onboarding, Leaves, Allowance, documentation, letter distribution, Exit, capturing audit trails and being golden source for employee information. These applications reside in the core model of the CEP IT and provides connectivity within the various internal and external HR platforms within CIB, the Group and externally.

Position Purpose
As the business analyst you will be expected to be an expert in leading collaboration with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects model a part of dynamic team delivering high quality solutions. You will play a crucial role in aligning standards and processes across a global team working on multiple applications. The role requires significant continuous engagement with a variety of stakeholders from business users, developers, project management office and production support teams.
Responsibilities
· Creating Requirement Specifications in the form of user stories for HR Applications remediations to identify the correct scope and ownership of the applications which may or may not be in the IT governance currently.
· Propose project governance, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely deliverables.
· Conduct HR IT assets gap analysis, provide impact assessments, and make recommendations that offer workable, efficient options to users and stakeholders.
· Co-ordinate with the business users, application sponsors and support teams to refine the IT Assets Inventory for HR Applications, Suggest the correct ownership, bring them under IT Governance wherever applicable
· Prepare, participate or represent in the IT Assets Validations and Governance process like ITSVC, Change Management and Steerco’s
· Work closely with vendors and OEMs to prioritize issues and manage release contents.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and define business requirements.
· Manage the appropriate Agile ceremonies; epic, user story, sprint, release planning, backlog refinement to ensure well groomed backlogs.
· Participate in Functional HRIS activities, including process definition and design, documentation, configuration, application testing, as well as some project management and internal communication activities as needed.
· Ensure requirements and specifications documentation reach signoff and validate deliverables to specifications.
· Recommend changes to current processes to provide more effective use of the HR tool and take the lead to implement these changes.
· Provide support in researching and resolving HR system issues, unexpected results or process flaws; recommending solutions or alternative methods to meet requirements.
· Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation; train business on new processes/functionality; and train new system users.
· Liaise with Vendor, Dev and APS team to maintain and implement mandatory changes for IT infrastructure
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
· 10+ Years Techno functional experience as Business Analyst in HR/Business applications development, upgrades, enhancement and production support.
· Experience of understanding and managing Macro business applications based on .NET, Java, VB, C#, PHP, Apache Tomcat server, SQL server etc.
· 7+ Years experience in BFSI domain HRMS solutions.
· Experience in governing and managing HR systems : Core HR, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding, Learning, Skills, Payroll, Compensation, Performance, Career planning, Workforce management, Absence, Attendance, Payroll interfaces and Reporting solutions.
· Understanding of inbound & outbound interfaces from vendor solutions to Core HR/Bank systems.
· Efficient in QA/SIT/UAT management, Solution design, Requirement gathering & Business coordination.
· Skilled in Project management activities, Persuasion and Influencing. Previous experience into Project Management Office will be added advantage.
· Experience of Agile methodology and maintenance AMC, MSA and Vendor/Supplier/OEM documentation.
· Preference will be given if have experience in Cloud systems.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Basic understanding of network and application security (Authentication, Encryption, SSO etc..)
· Understanding of technology obsolescence, vulnerabilities, compliance risk, application inventory including DR, RTO/RPO etc.
