The role will be a direct support for the manager on more practical daily tasks such as workload distribution, dealing of more complex BAU situation. Contribution to continuous improvement of team performance, through training, supervising, in close coordination and support to and from the manager.
Your Main Activities Are
- Maintain proper governance with onshore/head office team Heads to monitor the team's evolution, workload capacity, and implement corrective measures in due time
- Clarify "internal customers" for the team to ensure a clear sense of direction. Conduct regular reviews using Management Cockpit files, focusing on performance, PDP (Personal Development Plans), and career pathing.
- Monitor team satisfaction to prevent turnover; lead recruitment efforts in liaison with HR and onshore stakeholders; and foster individual development through continuous feedback
- Ensure the team meets all deadlines and maintains high standards of rigor and accuracy in all broker lifecycle and fee management tasks
- Supervise the facilitation of broker onboarding, periodic recertification, and offboarding; ensure request flows through the MAOS platform are managed efficiently and operational set-ups are correct
- Oversee the end-to-end management of brokerage rates; ensure rate cards are duly signed and exhaustively stored; and lead the team in performing price benchmarks during renegotiations
- Act as the escalation point for complex broker queries; lead investigations/remediation for missing documentation, and support the team in resolving blocking points with brokers
- Act as the internal matter expert for designated asset classes and guide the team on the full suite of Global Markets products and fee reconciliation processes
- Identify and design initiatives to improve process or cost efficiency; ensure the team maintains rigorous oversight of the internal control setup and flags inactivity or errors promptly
Profile and Skills to Success
- Master’s Degree Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related fields
- At least 5 years of experience in financial markets, sales or trading roles
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Methodological skills and an innovative mindset with a proactive approach to challenges
About the Team
The team is responsible for the Relationship Management of GM's Brokers, including the commercial relationship, the end-to-end management of fee schedules (including tariff negotiation and documentation), and ensuring the compliance of the Agency Brokers population (on-boarding, recertification, and maintenance). Additionally, the team handles the reporting of brokerage activity to relevant stakeholders and ensures rigorous control and monitoring of the operational framework.
