About Business line/Function:

CIB Securities Services are mainly categorized into 2 business lines i.e., Client Delivery and Client Lines. Client Delivery (operations) broadly focusing globally on Banking Services Operations, Middle Office Services and Fund Administration services.

Position Purpose

Operations Management - responsible for the coordination and contribution to a range of operational activities in Middle Office for OTC / ETD / CFD / Equities & Fixed Income

Leads and provides operational support, which may involve BAU management/ KPI monitoring /risk and control/people management/project management/stakeholder management, etc.  

Works closely with internal management team of Middle Office / dual locations/spoke locations/and other internal/external stakeholders.

The Trade management - APAC perimeter includes all the operations performed in Chennai and Mumbai.

The role will report hierarchically and functionally to the Head of Trade management - Chennai.

Direct Responsibilities 

  • Manage Operations – BAU/projects/Changes/People
  • Manages new projects and initiatives aimed at improvement of operational efficiency and team performance 
  • Work towards accomplishment of operational milestones by being risk and control focussed
  • Coordinate and support the operations team for innovative thinking at work space and gaining efficiencies
  • Ensure deliverables for OTC / ETD / CFD / Equities and Fixed income and meeting the client SLA / KPIs
  • Ensure appropriate margin moments are reconciled and executed.
  • Management of reconciliation break and effective escalation where needed.
  • Regular connect with team members for engagement.
  • Representing in all the governance meeting

Specific Qualifications (if required)

 

13-15 years of Operations experience – of which 5-6 years in management role.
