Job Title: Vice President, Electronic Equities Quant Engineer
Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019
Duties: Responsible for the overall operation and management of the electronic execution platform. Work closely with the client coverage, quantitative research, and analytics teams to implement change within the platform driving client relationships and the overall product direction. Function as first point of contact for functional questions on the algorithms, and field and research questions on the algorithmic behavior. As an expert on electronic trading, driving new features in the algorithmic and smart order routing product. Work to improve performance and increase client revenue. Sit in the middle of any problem providing the appropriate communication to impacted areas and making decisions around resolution. Work with trading teams to gather change and enhancement requirements. Review and analyze trade results and suggest configurations to enhance performance. Telecommuting permitted 30%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas Securities Corp office in New York, NY.
SALARY: $150,000.00 USD - $200,000.00 USD/ year
Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
Job Requirements: Master's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related field and two (2) years of experience in a job offered or related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: electronic equities execution; Proficient in C++ programming, specifically with experience in building high-performance trading systems; Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly equity markets; Proficient in KDB/Q and Python for data analysis and manipulation; and Excellent mathematical skills for quantitative analysis and modeling.
