Job Title: Vice President, Credit Analyst

Location: 787 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Duties: Monitor credit quality of corporate clients’ portfolios. Formulate projection models. Liaise with coverage and product groups to establish new lines of credit. Perform credit analysis and prepare credit memoranda. Interact with the Risk department, Bankers and Product Teams to ensure an in-depth and thorough credit assessment and efficient turnaround of transactions. Execute new transactions and amendments to credit agreements. Maintain reporting related to assigned portfolio: exposure tracking, regulatory related requirements, and other reports for internal/external uses. Train Analysts. Present portfolio company performance to senior management at quarterly review meetings.   *Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the BNP Paribas office in New York, NY.

SALARY: $165,000 - $200,000/ year

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) (in lieu of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, will accept a 3-year degree from an accredited U.S. or foreign university) in Finance, Economics, Business, or Management and three (3) years of experience in Corporate Finance. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Financial Statement Analysis to assess the creditworthiness of a corporate entity by reviewing profitability, cash flow, debt service capacity, and key leverage metrics; Credit Analysis to ensure compliance with FED requirements for annual corporate client reviews, manage live deal pipeline while maintaining < 2% past-due rates, assign and document facility ratings per Bank and FED policies, and support audit and regulatory requests to achieve no material findings; Company, Economic & Industry analysis to evaluate credit risk on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory/macroeconomic factors, while assessing company-specific elements such as business model, strategy, management, governance, financial performance and credit history; Credit Monitoring of investment-grade, high-yield, and sponsor-owned clients, involving management of credit exposure across the various Bank products; Explaining complex transactions, serving as a trusted sector expert to guide the credit process and keep decision makers informed, when required. Must have one (1) year of experience with: Exposure to Financial Modeling for origination events and sensitive names under the discounted cash flow methodology, including scenario building, repayment testing, WACC calculation and performance of enterprise value analysis using precedents transactions and peer comparables; Exposure to Deal Structuring and Execution across live transactions, including refinancings, M&A acquisition financings, new market lines, client originations, underwritings, and credit agreement amendments.
