What will your daily life look like on your first mission ?
An exceptional offer for young engineering graduates: As a Graduate, you will have a permanent contract (CDI) within BNP Paribas CIB.
- The richness of the program is that it can evolve in different AI teams for 12 months or IT teams for 18 months, with the possibility of carrying out two or three missions throughout the program in France and possibly abroad depending on the opportunities open to you.
- To enhance your skills and quickly acquire the keys to professional development, mentoring is at the heart of the Tech Graduate Program at CIB. From the beginning of the program, each Graduate will meet their Mentor: a senior manager with whom you will regularly exchange on your training, your questions, and who can help you build a solid network within the BNP Paribas Group. We know that sharing skills is crucial for learning and advancing in your career.
- The Tech Graduate Program is also a network: both thanks to your "buddy," a person from your team who will guide you in your integration at BNP Paribas, and thanks to regular networking events with other Graduates and young talents of the Group. Thus, you will have the opportunity to discover our different activities and professions, in a spirit of promotion that will be a perfect transition from your former student life. Finally, continuous training is part of the DNA of this Graduate Program: you will benefit from a wide range of training on hard skills and soft skills, as well as conferences and round tables to prepare you to meet the challenges of the Bank of tomorrow.
Missions, team and work environment, what does it look like ?
Responsibilities: Your mission will involve participating in various stages of data science projects, including:
- Defining and contributing to the implementation of technical solutions to meet business needs (internal development of models, integration of external or SaaS solutions, AI engines or machine learning, data analytics).
- Implementing testing strategies with senior data scientists and developers to ensure the required quality level and continuous improvement of development processes. Interact with Metier to ensure maximizing impact and adoption.
- Incorporating highest IT development standards to industrialize your data science, interacting with architects, production teams, and the technical leader community.
- Drafting framework documents and participating in development teams, promoting Agile best practices.
As proficient data scientists require to understand the reality of the business it is addressing. As such, our graduate program is unique in the sense that it offers one rotation in which the data scientist will perform a practical assignment embedded into the daily banking activities during 6 months: Credit analyst, Junior banker, KYC & anti Money Laundering operations, … To allow the graduates as well to evolve in the multicultural environment of BNP Paribas, for each, at least 1 assignment, data science or banking activity, will be done abroad.

Are you our next Tech Graduate CIB ITO, Data Scientist (M/F) ?
The Graduate Program is for graduates with less than 2 years of experience (excluding internships and apprenticeships) and a maximum of 24 months of professional experience post-graduation. You should have:
- A Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering or equivalent, with a specialization in Data Science: [NLP, GenAI, RAG, Agentic AI, data science, ML Engineering, MLOps]
- Proficiency in Python, notion in SQL is appreciated, additional languages are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of IT development rules, principles, and practices, as well as development and continuous integration tools (DevSecOps).
- An understanding of key data, security, and management issues.
- Interest for financial services for large enterprises.
- As some of the business assignments are related to Credit Analysis and / or participation into financing projects, we are welcoming candidates with a financial analysis experience (dedicated courses throughout their academic path, internships or experience in M&A, Audit, project financing…). A selection based on these experiences will be made to propose financing track path.

Have you demonstrated your creativity, proactiveness, initiative in problem solving and decision making? Focused on results, are you constantly looking to improve your performance & knowledge ? Do you have strong analytical and collaborative skills? Are you a good team player?
Last but not least, do you have a good level of English and French (equivalent to or higher than C1)?
How to join the program?
Very simple, send us your CV! You will receive an invitation to take online tests and, if selected, you will participate in a half-day HR assessment. A meeting with one or more Managers and a member of Human Resources, and if the fit is mutual, you are a Graduate!
