Job Title: ServiceNow Agile Tester

About Business line/Function: 

At BNP, we are working extensively to streamline the workflows and optimize Non-IT Service management modules through ServiceNow platform and solutions. This will drive projects more efficiently, cost effectively and proficient delivery

Position Purpose: 

ServiceNow Agile Tester should validate development quality for ServiceNow workflows within Flow Masters, ensuring rapid, reliable delivery of features while collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and Scrum Masters.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites (ATF - Automated Testing Framework).

• Execute manual exploratory tests for new user stories and regression cycles.

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Define acceptance criteria with Business Analysts/Product Owners; verify they are met. 

• Report defects promptly, track them in the backlog, and verify fixes.

• Complete testing document with performed steps.

• Advocate for testability and quality best practices across the team.

• Mentor junior testers and promote a shift left testing mindset.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of business process used in ServiceNow.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades and features.

• Certifications for ServiceNow modules.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

• Proficiency with ServiceNow test automation framework.

• Ability to write clear, concise test cases and defect reports.

• Good communication and collaboration skills; comfortable in cross functional teams.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Specific Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of ServiceNow experience.

• Certifications: Certified Scrum Tester, or similar.
