Senior Developer - Power BI

Job Title: PowerBI Factory senior job position

Department: ISPL, Cardif CS2R (CyberSecurity Risks & Resilience)

About Business line/Function: 

Within CyberSecurity Risks & Resilience (CS2R) department, the CS2R Cockpit team collects, centralizes, shares, manage key indicators (KPIs, KRIs) for the whole CARDIF perimeters and for the Group.

The goal of the team is to provide clear, consolidated and decision-oriented reporting which will offer Cardif management and to the Group support for strategic decision-making.

The position, offshored in India, will be part of the CS2R Cockpit team which is currently present mainly in France (4 ressources) and Portugal (1 ressource).

Position Purpose: 

The role will closely work with the PowerBI Factory junior job position (located in ISPL), they will both report to the PowerBI Factory SPOC and to the CS2R Cockpit Lead.

The position requires working in a cross-border team and international environment and is multidisciplinary in nature. It involves coordination with other locations and divisions of BNP Paribas Cardif as necessary. It is important that the candidate should have strong PowerBI / PowerApps products knowledge along with analytical skills and attention to details. Along with PowerBi and PowerApps, Python development will be mandatory, to automatize data transformation and dashboards production.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

The role will be primarily responsible for:

• Maintenance of existing PowerBI (PBI) tools and Python scripts
• Implementation of evolutions (PBI features, PBI dashboards otPyhton scripts)
• Production of manual reports while automated data collection is being developed. 

The role also requires to be able to:

• extract required information from several data sources (excel files, datahub, ServiceNow, PowerBI dashboards)containinghuge volume of data. 
• read KPI definition andtechnical specs to build cybersecurity KPI. 
• communicatewith multiple teams including development team and other stakeholders. Ability to translate user requirements with development teams throughout resolution, implementation and delivery.
• have a strong understanding of the transformation applied to the date(from golden source to security dashboards) and the ability to document them.

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
