Position Purpose
ITPS Data Hub Flux (i.e. DHF) has a requirement for a Technical Analyst (within Big Data Tech stack) to work closely with Paris Business Analyst team and coordinate on
- Requirement gathering & Impact analysis
- Create Functional Specifications & Data Mapping Documents
- Analyze Data residing on various systems such as DBMS, Unix, Hadoop Cluster, Elastic Search etc.
- Perform SIT, UAT, Post Prod Validations as and where applicable
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth expertise on various payment assets used within Cash Management Domain
- Collaborate with business users to understand business requirements & break them down into specific Jira Epic / Stories
- Validate business requirements to align with IT Architecture and Security Standards
- Create detailed Functional Specifications
- Create accurate Data Mapping documents
- Collaborate with Developers/ Testers to provide a walkthrough of a given business requirement, its significance and impact on existing set up
- Assist IT Teams to create required validation test cases e.g. Unit Test Cases, Integration Test Cases, QA Test Cases, UAT Test cases etc.
- To assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team
- Collaborate with other stake holders to facilitate proper coordination while implementing a change
- Provide SIT, UAT sign offs as and when required
- To participate in technical design reviews and contribute to improve overall solution offered
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Good data analysis & business analysis skills with ability to communicate and bridge between business/operations & IT Development team
- Proficiency in SQL and in analyzing data available in different formats such as Structured files, Semi Structured and Unstructured files. A good level of comfort in analyzing data residing on Unix, Hadoop Cluster, RDBMS or Elastic Search
- Able to work with complex data formats such as JSON, XML etc.
- Knowledge of Big Data tech stack (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
- Functional experience in Cash Management especially in Payments Domain is an added advantage
- Knowledge of Data Manipulation using Spark will be an added advantage
- Good team player with great commitment and attitude
- Good communication and coordination skill among multiple teams that are cross cultural and cross country.
- Ability to work independently.
- Familiar with various payment standard formats such as SWIFT etc.
- Knowledge in Java is an added advantage
Specific Qualifications (if required)
- Graduate degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
- 4 to 7 years of experience in Technical Analyst / IT Business Analyst / Data Analyst role
- Fluency with reading/speaking in French language can be an added advantage
