Position Purpose:
As a key member of the IT Regulatory Reporting team, the Lead Full Stack Developer will design, build, and implement next-generation, data-intensive solutions to meet complex global regulatory requirements. This role focuses on the hands-on development of scalable, cloud-native applications and the integration of cutting-edge AI/ML and Agentic frameworks into financial reporting workflows. The Lead Developer will be responsible for engineering robust software ecosystems, high-performance automated data pipelines, and intelligent user interfaces that power modern regulatory intelligence and large-scale financial data processing.
Direct Responsibilities
Architectural & Design Leadership
- Lead the design and production of detailed technical specification and architecture documents that translate complex business/regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect cloud-native, data-intensive systems using GCP or Azure.
- Design and implement AI-driven automation, utilizing LLMs and Agentic frameworks to enhance data intelligence, pattern recognition, and reporting efficiency.
Contributing Responsibilities
- Performing Unit testing and Supporting SIT, UAT cycles.
- Supporting Business Analysts and end-users when requested.
- Supporting the Application Production Support (APS) team for production deployments.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of software engineering experience, with knowledge in an architect role focusing on data-intensive, regulatory reporting, or financial services solutions.
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Specific Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Frontend: Advanced proficiency in Angular (17+) and AG Grid.
- Backend & Scripting: Expert-level Python (Fast API, Django, etc.).
- AI/ML: Strong expertise in AI/ML frameworks, LLM integration, Prompt Engineering, and Agentic frameworks (e.g., Lang Chain).
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with GCP and Azure cloud-native design and services.
- Databases: Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills with deep experience in Oracle and MSSQL.
- Data Science Libraries: Proficiency in Python libraries such as pandas, NumPy, Flask, or Polars.
Preferred/Optional Technologies:
- Axiom Controller View
- Backend Frameworks: Spring Boot.
- Orchestration & Workflow: Camunda.
- Data Processing: Apache Spark.
- Domain Specific: Regulatory Reporting technology.
Additional Competencies Preferred:
- DevOps & Infrastructure: Containerization (Docker/K8s) and familiarity with Git/DevOps pipelines.
- Data Engineering: Experience with Kafka, Apache Airflow, or similar streaming/orchestration tools.
- Visualization: Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Superset).
