The Securities Services business of BNP Paribas is one of Europe's leading providers of custody services for securities.

The Luxembourg branch plays a major part in its operations, offering clients high value-added services extending from custody to securities lending, fund administration, performance measurement and ratings, and bond issuance services.

We are currently looking for a:

Private Capital Portfolio Monitoring Analyst (M/F)

CONTEXT AND CHALLENGES

The candidate will be joining the Private Capital Assets Safekeeping Team and will be in charge of the Record Keeping and Ownership Verification of our client’s investment portfolio.

WHAT’S YOUR DAY-TO-DAY MISSION?

 Within a dedicated team of the Private Capital department, acting as Safekeeper of Private Capital assets and being fully integrated into the Net Asset Value calculation process, you will be in charge of :

  • Maintaining the investment portfolio of Private Capital entities on a look-through basis (Recordkeeping) by:

o   Gathering and analysing the supporting documentation received for each portfolio transaction

o   Performing the look-through analysis for each new investment, based on supporting documentation received (investment policy, financing information… )

o   Reconciling cash movements with portfolio transactions

o   Recording the portfolio transaction into the eFront software

o   Ensuring a strong understanding of the impact of the portfolio transaction recorded in eFront on the entity’s Net Asset Value, which is also calculated in eFront

o   Producing periodical portfolio reports to be shared with clients and Fund Administration teams

  •          Reconciliation of the positions held in the portfolio of the Private Capital entities with external documentation on a look-through basis at least once a year (Ownership Verification) and production of the Asset Inventory for the Annual Statutory Audits of the entity
  •          Providing quality assurance and maintaining constant communication with the client for documentation collection, cash flow management, and portfolio sharing
  •         Providing support to the Fund Administration teams to anticipate the impact on their respective duties
  •          Answering auditors’ queries
  •          Assisting in the development of internal tools and automations

Professional experience and/or degree

 Education:

 Master’s Degree (>=5 years)

Professional Experience:

 At least 2 years in an AIFM, Management Company, Depositary, Administrator, or Audit firm (Solely for Private Capital Funds)

Fluent in English – Any other language is considered as an advantage.
