In detail
- Provide 24/7 and (when necessary) weekend support for systems involved in the architecture.
- Primary focus will be Data Transfer technologies - file and message
- Administration of Data Transfer products, such as Axway SecureTransport and CFT Services.
- Defining data transfer flows and defining end point partners
- Setting up SSL between data transfer partners.
- Automating day-to-day data transfer tasks with Unix/Windows scripting.
- Create CSR (mainly via Open SSL), install and replace SSL Certificates
- The position requires a high degree of interaction with application development teams and as a result, superior communication skills are essential
- Deploy Standards and Procedures to comply with Audit, Configuration, Industry and Security baselines.
- Proactively monitor all Middleware related systems utilizing vendor supplied standard tools.
- Maintain complete inventory, configuration and documentation of deployed systems and supported apps.
- Work with the Engineering Teams on various Middleware related projects
- Work within the project management framework defined for IT Production North America.
- Identify operational and infrastructure risks within the environment and work with the application development teams and business users to make corrections and mitigate risks.
- Ensure optimal resilience of deployed systems and meet all disaster recovery and compliance requirements dictated by the business.
- Maintain top-notch technical skills & business knowledge through proactive self-learning in addition to any formal instructor-led training.
- Interface with external vendors in troubleshooting complex, cross-platform issues.
- Supporting the business on-call after business hours and weekends on a rotation basis.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelore Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with supporting Production infrastructure.
- 5+ years of experience with related data transfer technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Shell/python scripting – a must.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration.
- Knowledge and experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Knowledge and experience with SSH/SFTP Protocols.Strong knowledge and experience with TLS Certificate.
- Must have strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Networking/Firewall/DMZ environments.
- Will be required to comply fully with the bank’s general policies on attendance, compliance and professional conduct.
- Willingness to adapt to the changes constantly introduced by the Bank’s dynamic environment.
- Experience writing Ansible Playbooks for automation.
- Good understanding of DNS and GTMs.
- Infrastructure automation
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English is required.
