 About this opportunity   

Main scope of the role

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team! 

You will be a part of our core Nordic communications team which oversees and manages internal and external communications, marketing, and CSR activities, for BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking and BNP Paribas Group in the Nordic region. The team today consists of our Head of Communications, Company Engagement & Strategic Marketing, and our Events & Strategic Marketing Manager. 

The mission of the team is to enhance and protect the reputation of BNP Paribas, its businesses and the brand in the Nordic region, through direct and indirect communication with BNP Paribas various internal and external stakeholders. 

The team works closely with many internal partners, including senior leadership, , the Nordic HR team and regularly coordinates closely with other members of BNP Paribas’ Marketing & Communications community across the world.

What you will do    

Craft Compelling Content for our Clients and External stakeholders: You will play a vital role by creating tailored, high quality content that showcases our business success stories and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities to our clients and other external target groups.  You will write and design content for diverse platforms, including website articles, newsletters, client events, presentations material and social media posts. Your work will be central to building brand awareness, trust, and engagement. 

   Develop Event Branding Materials: Design and produce branding materials for events and sponsorships, including banners, signage, and digital assets, ensuring every event reflects our brand identity and creates a memorable experience. 

Create Impactful Internal Communications: Keep our team informed and connected by crafting internal newsletters, intranet articles, event invitations, and HR- communications.  

You will drive engaging and impactful employee communication communicating our People agenda, focusing on key areas such as leadership, diversity and inclusion, learning, and employee engagement. Through your work, you will support strengthening our employee’s connection to our mission and values, fostering an engaged, motivated and informed workforce. 

   Performance Monitoring and Strategy Adjustment: Track content performance metrics, assess areas for improvement, and continuously refine our strategies to maximize engagement both internally and externally. 

Content plan: You will maintain a content calendar and collaborate with our local teams as well as our specialized global Marketing & Communications teams to ensure alignment and consistency.  

Location: 

This position may be based in either Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo or Helsinki. 

Relevant experience and requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience in working with business communication, or at least 3 years of experience from a Marketing & Communications position in the financial services sector
  • Excellent communication skills delivering messages to internal and external audiences
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write longer as well as shorter texts of different tonality (factual and detailed and/or more engaging advertising style texts)
  • Creative with passion for design and brand building 
  • Good knowledge and experience of the social media landscape in the Nordic region
  • Positive and energetic personality
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Excellent problem solving and lateral thinking ability
  • Strong ethical compass
  • Excellent English skills and fluent in one other Nordic language 
  • Experience from working at a large global organization is a plus
