This 6-month apprenticeship will allow you to evolve in a cutting-edge field, Data Science, with a dynamic and passionate team.
Your Main Activities Are
Develop the product lifecycle:
- Design and develop Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, including data labeling, model configuration and training, testing, and result evaluation
- Develop, modify, and support internal applications, collaborating with IT professionals and developers within the AC team
- Work closely with clients throughout all stages of the application lifecycle
- Design the most appropriate approaches to solve the identified problems within the company framework
Implement and participate in the deployment and maintenance of models and software:
- Follow industry best practices to adapt and transform developed solutions into production-quality software
- Assist operational teams in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining the developed solutions
- Contribute to spreading a data-driven culture within CIB
- Maintain a strong market watch on the latest developments in methodologies, technologies, and tools
Profile and Skills to Success
- Engineer School/Master’s degree from university with a specialization in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or any engineering related field
- Ability to explain the results of a model and the different elements impacting it
- High statistical and quantitative analysis skills (e.g. machine learning models, statistical models, Bayesian statistics, probability theory, time series analysis, …)
- Ability to think abstractly and creatively
- Knowledge of databases and associated tools (SQL and NoSQL)
- Knowledge of ETL methods
- Effective Programming skills (e.g. Python, R, Java, Go) and algorithmic knowledge.
- Knowledge of at least one ML development stack (e.g. scikit-learn, keras, …)
- Knowledge of NLP techniques.
- Knowledge of deep learning architectures and frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow,…)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility: ability to work in a changing environment
About the Team
CIB Analytics Consulting (AC) consists of 60 people based in Paris and Lisbon. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer of CIB, Analytics Consulting is an internal expertise center for data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The team is at the forefront of BNP Paribas CIB's data transformation, continuously evolving. CIB Analytics Consulting helps internal entities (mainly CIB) better understand and use internal and external data, also offering dashboarding, advanced analytics, and AI application functionalities to its internal clients in response to their operational needs.
