The scope is worldwide with teams located in main regions (Asia, India, Europe, Americas) and it covers the production maintenance of the platforms as well. You will be part of a dynamic team of IT professionals and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and projects.We combine our global expertise and our local presence to anticipate and adapt to any needs.   Department:Business Line / Function:Grade: (if applicable)Number of Direct Reports: Position PurposeThe member of APAC IT Middleware team will do infrastructure setups and maintain Middleware infrastructure to provide stable, cost-effective and performing Middleware environment to the business across Asia Pacific within BNPP.
This role is for a L3 technical support position, and he/she will be responsible for overseeing the support services provided by the APAC IT Middleware team. They must ensure that the team’s services are delivered on time and aligned to agreed SLAs and processes.
He/she will help ensure the quality of Core Middleware services remains consistently high, that operating policies are developed or are strictly followed, and adhere to all IT security policies to maintain system integrity and quality.
The candidate must have excellent technical knowledge matched by a “can do” hands-on attitude, have an eye for details, possess an inquisitive mind that can analyze and improve existing ways of working, and always work to minimize operational risk.  The successful candidate will be a member of a dynamic IT team and will work with other IT teams in Asia, Europe and Americas, so must possess strong organization skills, have good time management and excellent written and communication skills.  Key ResponsibilitiesTeam membership· Ensure to be proven as good team player to deliver the objectives assigned to the team. Technical ManagementServices & system deployment:· Set up & maintain IT common infrastructure architecture in APAC ( SG, HK, JP, CN, AU, ID, KR)· Enterprise Middleware management§ Middleware installation, configuration & administration§ Capacity planning, optimization & upgrade Maintenance & Support:· Provide Incident troubleshooting and support for the Middleware infrastructure· Middleware system’s incident-problem management and recovery· Middleware provisioning· Business relationship management· Liaising with Business Application Teams, Regional IT Teams, Global Infrastructure Support and IT Security Teams to resolve issues, complete tasks and deliver projects in a timely fashion. Governance· Planning and completing designated projects from start to end, providing regular updates on task and project status and ensuring project deadlines are met on time.· Responsible for the SLA section related to the tower: SLA definition, reporting, dashboards.· Ensure the coordination and collaboration with Global Head of the relevant functional area.· Ensure that the instructions and guidelines of the Group (esp. IT Security guidelines and Global ITI&P Governance) are respected and the architecture is validated.· Responsible for controls to be run for as well as the closure of audit points related to the tower.  Competencies (Technical / Behavioral)Essential Technical Knowledge/Skills:
At least 10 – 15 years of technical experience in the following middleware technologies listed below:
o Open-source Apache Server (2.4.x) & Tomcat Server (8.x, 9.x)o RedHat Jboss EWS Apache 5.x & Tomcat 5.x.o RedHat Jboss EAP Application server (7.x & 8.x)o Microsoft IIS server (IIS 8.5, 10)o IBM WebSphere Application server BASE & ND (8.x, 9.x)o IBM WebSphere MQ server (9.1, 9.2 & 9.3)o Oracle WebLogic server (12.x, 14.x)o Axway CFT / ST servero Tibco EMS, Business Works, Hawko IBM Connect Direct  ü Installation of Apache/Tomcat/Jboss EWS/ IBM WAS/Weblogic/MQ software in Windows/AIX/Linux OS environment.ü Setup/Configuration of Apache/Tomcat/Jboss EWS/ IBM WAS server with SSL.ü Design, re-architecting and consolidation of existing Apache/Tomcat/Jboss EWS/ IBM WAS Server setup to achieve optimum process.ü Review, design and implementation of Apache/Tomcat/Jboss EWS/ IBM WAS Windows/UNIX scripting. (SSL renewal / deployment / restart)ü Support Oncall duty for 1 week per month. Should work on weekend for Production releases.ü Flexibility to do shift work and some weekends or late after office hours at short notice.ü Automate the Apache/Tomcat/Jboss EWS/ IBM WAS installation, upgrade, patching and configuration.ü Automate the application server migration from lower version to supported version.ü Analysis, remediation planning and execution for all overdue vulnerabilities for IBM MQ, IBM WAS, Apache, Tomcat, Jboss EAP/EWS products.ü To apply security vulnerability fixes on timely manner as per business needs.ü Analysis, remediation planning and execution for all Critical compliance deviations on Digital Platform assets, and ideally on High deviations for IBM MQ, IBM WAS, Apache, Tomcat and Jboss EAP/EWS.ü To apply security hardening policies for middleware products on timely manner as per business needs.ü To Analysis Obsolescence report and prepare remediation planning, perform user communication & execution for all Middleware supported servers.ü Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. French is a bonus.ü Strong knowledge on governance, build and run the services in cloud-based environmentsü Proficiency in handling complex IT-related projects: end to end (from proposal, initiation, planning, execution, operations support, until project closure).ü Demonstrate a systematic and logical approach to problem-solvingü Good presentation and documentation skillsü Ability break down complex technical situations and adapt their language to all levels of discussion, from non-technical managers up to 3rd level System Experts.ü Have knowledge and experience using agile methodologies and/or have been part of DevOps teams.ü Be service oriented, customer focused, positive, committed and have an enthusiastic “can do” attitude.ü Great time keeping skills and attention to detail is essential.ü Must be independent, organized, self-motivated, responsible, and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision.ü Relishes taking ownership, being totally hands-on and comfortable directly interfacing with people at all levels of the organization.ü Continuous improvement of the security watch process for the products under APAC Digital Platform management, to proactively plan for patching.ü Experience in creating and producing reports and Dashboard.ü Obtain skill for reporting: Tableau / Power query / Excel Micro programing / POWER BI / SQL query / Python / APIü Optional skill set: Prometheus / Grafana / Kibana / ELKü Obtain skill for automation: Ansible scripting + Ansible towerü Oversight of the Vulnerability & Compliance Deviation remediation for the locally managed network gears.ü Be service oriented, customer focused, positive, committed and have an enthusiastic “can do” attitude.ü Knows ITIL concepts and can apply them effectively. Other Value-Added Competencies: ü ITIL foundation for service managementü A professional certification in any of the application server technology listed.ü Analytical thinking and strong diagnostic information gatheringü Client-oriented, strong communication and organization skillsü Initiative and multitaskingü Ability to work under pressureü Having knowledge in ansible / good scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or other programming languages is an added advantage.
