Junior Fund Accountant - Reporting
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics or similar; we are open for graduates or students with ability to work full time for Junior Position; previous internship or short corporate experience is nice to have
- Understanding of bookkeeping principles and fund accounting
- Great communication skills. Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level
- Strong organizational with ability to work with deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Accountability and client focused mindset
- Proficient command of MS Office (proficient knowledge of Excel), knowledge of Bloomberg/Reuters
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing monthly trustee / control packs for open ended funds
- Investigating queries from internal and external parties, providing justification or backups supporting accounting records
- Calculating and reviewing effective yields on bonds held in portfolio as well as fee accruals
- Reconciling cash balances between Fund Accounting records and Custody in order to recognize, investigate and justify any discrepancies
- Actively participating in cross-trainings, calls and meetings with the team and internal parties – for Specialist Position
