JUNIOR DATA SCIENTIST (M/F/X)
Context
The Data Tribe is at the heart of AlphaCredit's data-driven transformation. Its mission is to create value through data by developing data platforms, advanced analytics capabilities, artificial intelligence solutions, reporting tools and data governance practices across the organization.
The Data Tribe is structured around four complementary teams: CoE Analytics & AI, CoE Data Governance, Visualization Solutions and Squad Data Hub.
Within this Tribe, the CoE Analytics & AI leverages company data to produce analyses, predictive models and Data & AI solutions that support business decisions, improve operational efficiency and create measurable value.
The team is involved across the entire data value creation cycle: understanding business needs, framing use cases, conducting business analyses, developing statistical and artificial intelligence models, measuring impact, supporting business teams in data-driven decision-making and contributing to the responsible and governed use of data.
In this context, AlphaCredit aims to progressively strengthen its strategy around AI and its use cases, as well as the associated governance, in line with Group standards, the AI Watchtower and regulatory requirements such as the AI Act.
Your role
Within the CoE Analytics & AI team, you support business teams in identifying and implementing data- and artificial intelligence-based solutions to address concrete business challenges and create measurable value for the company.
Depending on the nature of the needs, you contribute either through advanced analyses that help better understand a situation, identify opportunities or support decision-making, or through the development of and contribution to Data & AI use cases aimed at improving or automating certain business processes.
The objective is to provide recommendations, insights or concrete solutions that improve the company's performance, across a variety of topics, notably marketing (for example: understanding the factors influencing credit demand, analyzing customer behavior to optimize targeting, developing predictive or propensity models) and operations (for example: identifying levers to improve collections performance, designing and testing solutions to increase operational efficiency).
You take part in the different stages of these initiatives: understanding the business need, exploring and preparing data, formulating hypotheses, conducting analyses or developing models, evaluating results and presenting outcomes to stakeholders.
You ensure regular follow-up of your work, communicate on progress and contribute to the documentation of the analyses, models and results produced.
You apply the quality, data and AI governance, data protection and responsible AI standards defined within the Data Tribe.
You progressively develop your technical and functional autonomy in an environment that encourages learning, knowledge sharing and collaboration with more experienced profiles within the team.
