About the Job

  • The Product Owner will work on a project focused on the evolution of third-party data ecosystems which aims to streamline the integration of new data and technologies such as data virtualization, Application Programming Interfaces (API), etc., enhancing the accessibility and real-time availability of data across systems
  • The Information Technology (IT) Product Owner is accountable for defining, delivering, and continuously evolving strategic business applications and referential platforms that support the organization's core processes and data domains. Acting as the bridge between Business and Technology, the Product Owner drives the end-to-end product lifecycle, from vision and roadmap definition to successful delivery and adoption, ensuring the creation of scalable, sustainable, and business-value-driven solutions
  • The role owns product strategy, prioritization, and execution, ensuring that delivery teams consistently build high-quality products that meet business objectives, user needs, architectural standards, and governance requirements. As a senior leader, the Product Owner provides direction to multidisciplinary teams, influences stakeholders at all levels, and serves as a reference point for product management and delivery excellence across the organization 

Your Main Activities Are

  • Design, understand and analyze the needs coming from the Business or deriving from market changes, proposing detailed requirements
  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and delivery strategy
  • Lead the delivery of new applications and referential systems from ideation to production
  • Manage and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value and strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with Business, Architects, Developers, Quality Analysts (QA), and Operations teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Drive product governance, risk management, and compliance with Group standards
  • Monitor delivery progress, product adoption, and business outcomes through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) 
  • Act as a senior reference within the organization, mentoring Product Owners and contributing to product management best practices

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Management
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a Product Owner or a similar role
  • Professional experience delivering Master Data Management (MDM), referential applications, data governance, and data modelling solutions
  • Experience defining acceptance criteria and supporting Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release readiness activities
  • Strong experience managing product roadmaps, backlog prioritization and end-to-end delivery in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Proficient knowledge of Azure and/or AWS, Continuous Improvement/Continuous Development pipelines, GitLab, Azure DevOps and deployment processes
  • Knowledge of IT governance, security, risk management, KPIs, and delivery performance management within large enterprise environments
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
  • Strong accountability, decision-making skills, and focus on delivering outcomes
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and align business and IT stakeholders
  • Ability to balance business priorities, product vision, and technology decisions 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to drive alignment and foster effective cross-functional teamwork 

About the Team 

  • Information Technology Transversal & Functions (ITTF) is a new IT framework encompassing the Projects & Systems of the Finance and RISK functions, with a strong focus on efficiency, proximity, agility, and time-to-market. ITTF is a new worldwide organizational model that will contribute to tackling the major challenges of the Group’s transformation, both today and tomorrow, building the best offering for the Finance and Risk community through a progressive rotation to new technologies and best practices. The ITTF organization is the outcome of several convergences: between the Project & Systems teams of Group Finance, Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), Finance, and RISK, and their related IT teams
  • IT Transversal & Functions is part of the Information Technology Group (ITG) organization, with threefold sponsorship by ITG, Finance, and RISK
  • One of the products of this project is “UMD” (UNIQUE ID, MATCHING & DATA COLLECTION) that has the objective and ambition to build and deploy a matching solution live having as a target matching as a service capability with unique identification to all third parties publishing through the Businesses and locations (facilitating cross-selling, making Group-level reports reliable) and new data collection application delivered
