ABOUT THE JOB

 
MISSION
 
The role of the Business Analyst/Project Manager is to analyze business needs within functional domains to enhance IS with sustainable solutions that align with strategic plans and requests. They ensure the solution fulfills business requirements and manage relevant projects and initiatives
 
RESPONSIBILITIES

The Business Analyst performs all or part of the following activities under each responsibility:

1.       Understand and analyze the needs of the Business related to one or more functional domains, with the aim of enhancing the IS with appropriate and sustainable solutions in line with the entity's strategic plan and the related request portfolio:

•         Handle demands from different stakeholders on several topics

•         Contribute to preliminary studies with the business

•         Participate, as necessary, in monitoring the portfolio and prioritizing requests in their scope of activity

•         Clarify, analyze from a critical and constructive perspective and, as necessary, challenge the need expressed by the Business regarding the entity's strategic plan

•         Create business cases including alternatives

•         Design practical solutions within the budget and technical constraints of the team

2.       Ensure that the solution is compatible with the requirements derived from the Business's needs

•         Formalize the statement of requirements and have it validated by the Business

•         Define, formalize and request validation of requirements related to the need with the contributors involved, in compliance with the entity's applicable practices

•         Closely collaborate with the development team to ensure a correct solution.

•         Create test plans and show entry/exit criteria for each test

•         Execute system testing, record all results, and supply input for defect prioritization

•         Supporting users in acceptance tests (UAT)

•         Develop user training requirements and conduct training where needed

•         Contribute with the Business to change management activities and deployment for the end customer

•         Help identify Business impacts caused by the solution and prepare action plans

•         Provide level 3 production support when needed

3.       Management of projects and initiatives in the scope:

•         Engage and build strong relationships with all the stakeholders including the UK management, project team for the project success.

•         Participate and contribute to team catch up, reviews, retrospectives, progress updates and planning forum

•         Create project schedules and keep realistic project plan – including risks, issues, and interdependencies with actions to manage the impact.

•         Set the project budget and manage any deviations on time.

•         Proactive project status reporting to management, sponsors and stakeholders and running steering committees.

•         Promptly escalate issues requiring support from line management and sponsors

•         To ensure that tests are carried out at each initiative or project

•         Manage vendors for third party system implementation

•         Ensure that the project is closed in a controlled manner, communicate learnings, providing final budget versus actuals status, and ensuring handover to production support teams.

 
 
REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's (3-5 years) in Economics or Business Administration
