About the job
- The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a solution provider towards their client and a strategic partner on HR-related topics within their scope. The HRBP provides a fully integrated, comprehensive HR role with focus on developing and maintaining relationship with designated domain, providing HR advice and services in line with domain strategic objective
- The HRBP is part of a diversified HR Community and will leverage knowledge of specialist HR teams for specialist advice on Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations, etc.
Your Main Activities Are
- Act as a strategic entry point on HR-related topics with the Head(s) of the activity
- Acquire and develop an understanding of the activities covered within BNP Paribas Portugal
- Maintain contact with internal clients (managers and team members)
- Share constant update with managers on the HR tools and processes, the organisation, the HR strategy and HR needs
- Maintain a general knowledge on BNP Paribas and HR strategy, resources and challenges
- Responsible for employees' career development:
- Ensure the good process of all administrative HR actions (in liaison with the concerned administrative platform)
- Advise on the recruitment of new joiners (external recruitments and/or internal mobilities) and liaise with the Recruitment platform
- Set up regular career development interviews
- Identify and develop specific populations: talents, key people, junior staff, etc.)
- Coordinate internal mobility, expatriation, maternity leave, retirement and exit processes
- Build and update a succession planning
- Ensure completion of year end appraisal
- Manage the Annual Compensation Review Process and off cycle compensation review: provide advice and guidance to managers with regards to compensation of their staff, ensuring equity, fairness, and non-discrimination
- Coach the business/function to optimize their human resources:
- Build partnership with the management to share short and long-term HR strategy
- Provide HR support, in accordance with HR strategy
- Promote specific HR initiatives suitable to the business/function, namely for talents, leadership, internal mobility, 180º feedback process, diversity actions, etc.
- Coach the business on legal and/or disciplinary issues management
Profile and Skills to Success
- Post-graduate studies in Human Resources or Social Sciences
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Human Resources
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required
- Excellent ability to collaborate/Teamwork
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and active listening
- Personal Impact/Ability to influence
