Description

  • VP/Associate Electronic Sales trading position, responsible for day-to-day low-touch Coverage of Japanese and APAC order flow for a mix of domestic and global institutional clients.
  • Focus on opening up and driving growth with unbundled clients.
  • Collaboration across Product/IT/Compliance and other teams to drive development of the platform and the Electronic offering as a whole.

Responsibilities:

As an active member of the Coverage team, the candidate will have a business owner mindset to drive the growth of institutional client revenues.

  • Maximise client engagement through active Coverage and collaboration with internal teams & senior management across all regions.
  • Active Coverage of client order flow as a value-add service:
    • Fundamental understanding of client objectives, market structure, liquidity profiles.
    • Monitor client and algo behavior to adhere to market regulations and firm procedures.
  • Content generation and distribution:
    • Collaborate with EE Product team & Market Structure teams to maximise use of thematic content.
  • Product/Platform:
    • Be a major contributor to the development of strategic tools, algo enhancements, and content to improve the all aspects of the business.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • 3-5 years in Electronic Equities Coverage  - prefer experience in all APAC markets but not mandatory.
  • Track record of covering domestic & offshore institutional clients
  • Bilingual (Fluent in English & Japanese)
  • Ability to work closely with Product and Quant teams to be a key contributor to platform development and execution consulting.
