Our mission is to measure, control and explain all the financial indicators required to monitor accounting, tax, regulatory, liquidity, credit risk reporting and management result activities. About BNP Paribas’s Infinity Platform
The purpose is to propose services that cover the whole financial dimensions: accounting production activities, reporting, control, transformation projects and IT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Measure and book accounting adjustments to guarantee complete, accurate reporting.
- Review and execute suspense and legal tax provisions.
- Oversee accounting controls performed by Back Office teams and certify quarterly results.
- Control and analyse data for regulatory reporting and disclosure production.
- Provide supervision and support for LoD1 controls, ensuring data integrity.
- Contribute to system upgrades, process improvements and special projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Studies
- Business school, University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting or Finance Degree
- Experience
- 2-4 years experience in Finance within the Banking sector (Financial Accounting, Reporting, Business/financial analysis), including audit and consultancy firms
- Experience of working in an international environment appreciated
Languages
- English Advanced
- Spanish Advanced
- French Highly valuated
SKILLS
Technical
- Knowledge of Banking products is desirable
- Working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, both in IFRS and French GAAP (an asset)
- IFRS9 impairment calculation knowledge will be a plus
- High proficiency in computer skills and data analytics
Transversal & Behavioral
- Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skill
- Ability to learn new systems and products quickly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a matrix organisation and deadline-focused environment
