The position you’re applying for
In this role, you will be a member of the MNC EMEA Senior Originators community and part of the team working on the expansion of the relationship and transactions with EMEA subsidiaries of Japan-headquartered companies. You will be responsible for managing relationships and growing revenues on a portfolio of ca. 20-25 clients at VP or Director level.
You will also acts as primary coverage contact for strategic Japanese clients in the EMEA region, enhancing and elevating long-term relationships with regional treasuries and other key decision makers (for example c-suite, procurement, sustainability).
Your responsibilities
- Acts as primary coverage contact for strategic Japanese clients in the EMEA region, enhancing and elevating long-term relationships with regional treasuries and other key decision makers (for example c-suite, procurement, sustainability)
- Assumes direct commercial responsibility for his/her client portfolio, originates and executes new client transactions with focus on vanilla and strategic deals at EMEA level
- Develops a broad network with decision makers within the client, which is not limited to finance functions only but includes C-Suite, Sustainability Officer, Procurement, Business Development etc.
- You will work well together with those around you and embody and practice the Group values (alignment with the Bank’s strategy, work ethics, integrity, Code of Conduct).

Who you are
- You have a strong team spirit, work well with others and have an inclusive approach
- You have excellent knowledge of the Japanese ecosystem in general, ideally with strong connectivity with large Japanese corporations in the Netherlands and/or Europe
- You have several years of experience in a similar role
- You are an excellent communicator (in Japanese and English). Fluency in business Japanese is a must.
- You are passionate for innovation
- You like to build and have an entrepreneurial mindset
- You lead by example and enjoy developing more junior colleagues
