In order to comply with European Central Bank Regulation (BCBS 239), BNP Paribas Group has implemented a global framework to monitor the quality of data used for regulatory reportings (Finance, Risk, Liquidity and ALMT).  Wealth Management has defined a robust setup for Global Asian and International Markets (GAIM) entities, notably in Asia.

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of the overall Wealth Management data quality and for the dashboarding setup for Wealth Management data quality indicators.

This central position in Wealth Management Data Quality community is a great opportunity to integrate the data community of BNP Paribas Group, in an international context, to interact daily in a transversal way on multiple topics with Group and Wealth Management experts (Credit, Finance, Risk, IT, ALMT), and to build a strong network within Wealth Management business line and the BNPP Group.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Ensure monthly production and analysis of the data quality dashboards. Based on dedicated KPIs he/she will identify new issues and perform first analysis and diagnosis

  • Follow the implementation of data quality initiatives and remediation plans across Wealth Management worldwide, relying on a network of Data Quality Analysts within each function

  • Assist the Senior Data Management Officer in the preparation of data quality meetings and committees.

  • Ensure technical maintenance of this tool and notably settings & documentation. And to ensure extension of the data quality setup by creating additional controls on new data and extending this setup to additional countries

  • Ensure update of documentation related to data quality, among which data dictionary, defaulting rules, controls dictionary, in partnership with Wealth Management experts (Credit, Risk, Finance and ALMT)

Profile and Skills to Success

  • 2 years of experience in banking industry in Finance, Credit, Risk or Control

  • Fluent in English (French speaking would be a plus)

  • Computer skills: pack office

  • Datavisualization tool / Tableau Desktop appreciated

  • Ability to work in a collaborative / transversal environment

  • Organized and rigorous

  • Analytical mindset

  • Problem solving & project management capabilities
