Become our new Data Protection Specialist / Data Protection & Privacy Manager based in Porto or Lisbon

The Data Protection Specialist assists the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the Data Protection framework.
YOUR FUTURE MISSIONS
Your key responsibilities will be:
Tranversal activities
- Develop and contribute to supporting the improvement of a global advanced risk culture;
- Develop the existing reporting framework, provide quantitative metrics and KPIs to measure and communicate on risk and data management and contribute to the organizational committees related to its perimeter of intervention;
- Ensure the development and implementation of adequate governance, training and awareness plan for the entity.
Specific Data Protection
- Assume the role of Data Protection & Privacy Manager in Cardif Support;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of a data protection framework and assist in the performance of the day-to-day activities related to the implementation and development of any data related activities;
- Ensure the execution of the actions required to prevent the occurrence of data protection incidents;
- Identify the data protection alerts requiring immediate attention and deploy any corrective / preventive actions, including its escalation and reporting;
- Contribute, manage, monitor and liaise with the relevant stakeholders, to the identification and registering of data processing activities, ensuring its systematic update;
- Respond to Cardif Corporate and BNP Group data controls;
- Create action plans in order to maintain full compliance with global data requirements;
- Maintain local data governance aligned with BNP Group and Cardif Corporate directives;
- Monitor and update local risk and data procedures.
READY TO MAKE AN IMPACT? HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Degree in related area;
- Previous working experience, ideally in a function related to data, internal control, audit, compliance, risk or similar;
- Holder of relevant certifications, such as CIPP or CISM;
- Fluency in English – Portuguese is appreciated, French is a plus;
- Between 3 and 5 years of experience;
- Very good analytical and organization skills, attention to detail;
- High sense of confidentiality;
- Strive for customer satisfaction and aim to deliver high-quality results;
- Very good written and oral communication skills.
